I was raised in the Waikato in a medical family and I completed my medical degree in Otago, graduating in 1999. General Practice was always my plan as I am passionate about family medicine and caring for people across the decades. I feel privileged to develop relationships with my patients and their families while making a positive impact on their health and well being. I completed my GP training in 2003 and I worked as a GP in Auckland, Tauranga and Whangarei while my husband completed his surgical training. We settled in Rotorua in 2010 to be closer to our family and to raise our two beautiful children. Sport and exercise has always been an important part of my life. I played competitive netball for multiple provincial and national teams in my younger years. I now like to set myself new physical challenges! I feel very spoilt to live in Rotorua with it's amazing outdoor lifestyle and I love making the most of the lakes and the forest.
I look forward to meeting you and your family at TLC!

Born in England, I studied medicine and became a partner in a London practice before the lure of travel became too great and I spent a few years exploring, working and sailing around the world. Settling in New Zealand in 2000 I have been caring for the people of Rotorua for the past 14 years, but have always dreamt of creating my ideal practice .Three lakes clinic fulfills that dream.
The like minded, dedicated team at TLC enables me to provide more personal, extra special care.

It has been a great honour to live and work in Rotorua for over 20 years, to get to know the people and the land, to get married and give birth to four beautiful children. This has led me to want to create something special in the community here, a health centre that was born in rural mid Canterbury amidst old fashioned country values that also incorporates all the knowledge, wisdom and culture I have learnt at Rotorua Hospital and in General Practice. I think General Practice is the best job in the world because it allows me to share the life journey of so many special patients, to understand their struggles and to walk beside them in their vulnerable times. I want to create a service where every patient feels valued, listened to and cared for, I feel that this is the best medicine I can give to Rotorua my community.
I feel that this is the best medicine I can give to Rotorua my community.

Having worked in the health sector for 24 years in varied roles including physiotherapy and General Practice Clinics both in Australia and New Zealand, it has been an exciting opportunity to join the team here at Three Lakes Clinic. Originally born in Westport, my husband and I moved to Rotorua 13 years ago. We have 2 sons, one of which still lives close by. I have a keen interest n health and staying fit and as a result I am keen walker and regular gym member. Other interests are gardening and interior design. Three lakes clinics commitment to patient centred care allows me to work within a team where our patients come first – always.
Meeting our patients and their families makes my work days a pleasure.
