About Three Lakes Clinic
Our company
With 50 collective years in the field, our 3 expert founding female doctors started TLC in 2014 to bring the best care to Rotorua. At Three Lakes Clinic, we've created a health centre focused on care that looks at you as a whole. Our Total Life Care approach considers your physical, mental, and spiritual health together.
As a doctor-owned and led company, we strive towards delivering the best possible service for all our patients, whatever their needs.
Our mission
We value relationships and teamwork, fostering respect in a vibrant, warm, and kind environment for everyone's well-being. We aim to listen and understand your health views, then support your journey towards optimal wellness.
About Three Lakes Clinic GPs
Dr Cate Mills
It has been a great honour to live and work in Rotorua for over 20 years, to get to know the people and the land, to get married and give birth to four beautiful children. This has led me to want to create something special in the community here: a health centre that was born in rural mid Canterbury amidst old fashioned country values that also incorporates all the knowledge, wisdom and culture I have learnt at Rotorua Hospital and in General Practice.
I think General Practice is the best job in the world because it allows me to share the life journey of so many special patients, to understand their struggles and to walk beside them in their vulnerable times. I want to create a service where every patient feels valued, listened to and cared for, I feel that this is the best medicine I can give to Rotorua; my community.
Dr Annie Walden
Born in England, I studied medicine and became a partner in a London practice before the lure of travel became too great and I spent a few years exploring, working, and sailing around the world. Settling in New Zealand in 2000 I have been caring for the people of Rotorua since, but always dreamt of creating my ideal practice. Three Lakes Clinic fulfills that dream.
